Thanksgiving 2013

Where does the time go? I can't keep up anymore.. 

Thanksgiving was different for our little family this year.

We sure did miss our sweet Nanny.

My parents have been packing up their house to move and they had to be out by December 1 so mom's house was out of the question for Thanksgiving.

We had my parents over here for a yummy meal and we had a fun day together just the 6 of us.

I think Jamie ended up going over to mom and dads and helping move stuff but we watched the parade and ate yummy food and both girls took naps and mom and I went shopping for a bit that afternoon.

It's crazy that stores are actually open on thanksgiving now. 

We went to 2 little stores looking for kid size trees but we didn't fit the crowds and get in all the craziness.

Black Friday shopping for me =online shopping.. easy enough

another reason we didn't take family pics for our christmas cards... I just used what I already had.

Thanksgiving always makes me truly appreciate all the blessings in my life.  

These two little girls are definitely my heart.  

Can't thank God enough for allowing me to be their mom.

Thankful for this sweet guy that we call daddy.

Nana came to visit us that afternoon.

We had a good day and I'm so thankful for all these wonderful people in our life.

We are blessed!

Maggie Charles is 9 months old..

I'm trying to get this up before MC turns 10 months on Tuesday.  I'm so behind..

On November 10, this little one was 9 months old..

I just can't handle how big girl you are!!

You had your 9 month checkup and you weigh 20 lbs. 3 oz. and you are in the 75th percentile.

Burkleigh weighed 17.5 at 9 months.

You are in the 75th percentile for height too.

I see some resemblence but mostly I see myself in Maggie and Jamie in Burkleigh.  

What are you up to?

You still wear a size 4 diaper but your probably ready to move up to a 5.

You are wearing mostly 12 months clothes but some 9 months.

You are drinking about 4 bottles a day..usually around 6-7 oz each.

You are a good napper.. You take a am nap and afternoon nap from 1-2 hours.

YOu sleep through the night and usually don't wake up until around 8am.  You go to bed around 8ish too.

YOu are pulling up on everything!!

You are crawling everywhere and into everything!

You will be walking next month I'm sure.. sad!

You had a yucky upper respiratory infection before Thanksgiving and you got antibotics and it cleared it up.

You discovered the steps at Mimis house and you were all about them.

You've been sitting at the big girl table with B to eat your breakfast and some snacks.

I swear you are too big girl!!  Makes me sad..

You love to eat and you will eat anything!!

You love your water and your sippy cup too.  

YOu love to be outside too!

You have your two bottom teeth.  THankfully, teething hasn't been that bad for you.

YOu are such a happy baby.

You can say mama, dada and you are starting to wave.. You wave at night when I am giving you your bedtime bottle.  It is too cute!

You are a mama's girl!!

You have started crying some when new people hold you or talk to you..

Last week the hubs turned the big 40.  I had all these great ideas to get him 40 small gifts and wrap each one up for him to open but it just didn't happen..maybe next year.  I love birthdays and celebrating people that you love.  Growing up, birthdays were always a big deal to our family and I hope they will be for my girls too.  Any excuse to eat some yummy cake and ice cream is always a plus too.  We had a fun day together as a family and  the weather was so nice too so we went down to the creek and had lunch and B played on the playground and had a blast at the waterfall.  Jamie didn't want to go out to eat since AU was playing so we stayed home and cooked out steaks and potatoes and had a yummy dinner.  Hopefully, we can have a night out soon to celebrate.

Daddy got a new coffee maker!

Daddy makes 40 look good!  We are thankful for you daddy and all you do for us.

Halloween 2013..

We had a fun Halloween with our two little ladybugs! I'm cherishing the times I can dress them alike for costumes. So far, B likes for sissy to match her.  So, that is a good thing.  =) Jamie took the day off work so he could be home in time and B had a fun halloween party at her school that morning.  We weren't sure how the weather was going to hold off since the forecast called for rain but we got to trick or treat before the rain came down.  My SIL and BIL brought their two girls over to trick or treat with us and the girls had a blast.  Nana and Mimi came over too and our oldest niece, Haley stopped too.  B was so excited this year and she actually got it too.  It was so cute...she caught on fast and wanted to get "more candy."  

My Lil Pumpkin..

I'm so behind in the blogging world.. so I'm trying to get caught up.  This was little Maggie's first halloween and I wanted to get some pics of her cute little chubby self in a pumpkin.  She was a good sport for her crazy mama too although it wasn't easy getting  her in there.  =)  Here's a few to share! She was 8.5 months old at the time of these pics.. time flies! 

What a little joy she is to our family! I swear I could just eat her up!!
