Burkleigh Ann is 16 months old..

You are 16 months!

I'm guessing you weigh about 23 lbs.

You are wearing a size 4 diaper.  But some 3's still fit you.

You wear mostly 12 month clothes but some 18 months in pajamas.

You are getting so "big girl" too and your little personality is really coming out.

You still love Barney and watch him almost every morning.

You love my necklaces and bracelets and love to put them on and wear.

You love to open and close doors and hide behind them.. you think that is so funny.

You still don't say a lot of words.. we are trying really hard to get you to talk more and I know you know what we are saying and asking because you smile really big or you will do what I ask you to but you just won't talk much.  

Lately, you've started saying, "Ah, yah, yah," and making lots of noises when we ask you if you can talk.

You will wave at everything and sign more for a lot of things but you just won't say the words.

You love to play outside in the cul-de-sac and when I saw here comes a car, you will come running back to me.

You will make the animal sounds for a horse, dog, pig, tiger and you can point to your head, nose, ears, tongue and feet.

You love dogs and all animals.  You would pet anything but really love dogs.

You have started drinking orange juice and you love that.

You are climbing onto everything.  We have to really watch you. You learned how to climb up on one of your toys and you love for someone to help you jump down.

You love shoes now too and will run to get your shoes everytime you want to go outside.

You love to brush your teeth too.

You love for us to read to you or sing to you.

You make the funniest faces and love to play peek a boo with us or Oscar.

You really love Oscar.

You are still not a great eater but you eat a lot of fruit. You love watermelon and grapes.

You love eating cereal out of the bowl too and you can feed yourself pretty good.

You love mac and cheese, spagetti, peas and carrots, anything sweet.  Your favorite is M and M's and whatever we are eating. You snack a lot on goldfish, yogurt melts, teddy grahams, cheetos.

You had a juice box for the first time this month and you did really good drinking it from your juice box holder.  

You still take a bedtime bottle of milk before bed. You refuse to drink milk from a sippy cup.

You tried to climb into your baby stroller and you loved it when we pushed you.

You are taking great naps lately...usually 3 hours sometimes even a little more. 

You usually wake up around 8.. sometimes earlier, sometimes later and you don't go to bed until around 9 usually.

Your favorite toys right now are your little push toy we call "lion".  Oh my word.. you love him and your little baby doll you got last Christmas.  You take her everywhere too. 

You sleep with bunny lovey and we can't go anywhere without her.  

You do this funny thing with your eyes when you are being silly and you try to hide from us.. You will roll your eyes back in your head and just laugh at us.  It's too funny.

You HATE to have your diaper changed, your clothes changed or your nose wiped.  You do not like those!

You are just the sweetest thing to us and we love to see you grow up!  I know you are going to be a great big sister!

You love little kids and your new thing is to hug them or touch their heads.  It's too sweet.

You have the funniest little laugh.. it is so contagious and you constantly make us laugh!
