Sprinkler Fun and Friends..

B is loving playing in the sprinkler.  She wasn't too sure about it at first but now she goes full force.  Lately, we play in the sprinkler most afternoons or mornings depending on what we have going on.  It is SO incredibly hot but that doesn't stop my child from wanting to go outside.  She still loves it but I just can't take it for that long.  I haven't been taking many pictures lately and we've mostly been hanging around the house but the other day I did take a few.  Excuse her little socks but the ants seem to love her little feet and she's got several little bites. =(

Sweet girl.. loves to be outside!

Lily came over to play one day last week and the girls had a good ole time.  My eye is finally starting to get better but it was rough there for a while.  I couldn't see or open it that great.  So, I was pretty homebound for a while.  Thankful for sweet friends who brought over lunch and came to play.  I'm gonna miss these sweet play dates when I have to go back to work.  sniff..sniff!!
We love Becca and Lily!

Happy Birthday Mimi

Mom's bithday was last Friday and I don't have any pictures to show for it.  =(
(This was from B's birthday)
We had a family celebration on Saturday night and dad cooked out some yummy steaks and we had a yummy strawberry cake from Edgars!  It was a fun day.
I'm extremely thankful for this sweet momma of mine and hope she knows how special she is!
I seriously don't know how I would make it through life without her.  She keeps my child at least once a week so I can get some things done solo.  And lately, I've been going to school and trying to get my classroom set back up and B makes it very challenging to get anything done up there.  So, thank the Lord for my momma.  B just doesn't know how lucky she is. She will soon have her Mimi taking care of her during the day when I go back to work in a few weeks.  =(
It takes a special person to do what my mom does for me, B and our family.  There is not a day that goes by that I don't appreciate her and what all she does.  I don't think I tell her nearly enough but mom you are truly the best!  I thank God everyday for a special mom like you.
We love you to pieces and look forward to celebrating with the whole family this weekend in Atlanta!

Burkleigh Ann's Big News..

She's going to be a BIG SISTER!!!!
WOO-HOO!!

Baby Number 2 is on the way!!
We are thrilled to share our news to the world.
Little one is doing great.. we got to see the little peanut on Friday.  All looks great and the heartbeat was 155.  Going strong.  Burkleigh's was always around that too.  =)
We are anxious to know if baby will be a boy or a girl.  We'll find out in October and little one is set to make their arrival on March 1, 2013.
I still can't believe I'm pregnant.  To say we were surprised would be an understatement but we are so thankful for an "easy" pregnancy.  Sister was not that easy.  =)
Thankful for those sweet surprises!  We are very excited!!

13 months...

Burkleigh Ann is 13 months old!  You are a little mess...
Can we say cutie?  I love this sweet picture

*You are walking and monkey crawling everywhere.  You still love your push toys and your little house toy that you got for your b'day.  You love to put things inside things and take them out again.

* You love barney and sitting in your pb chair.

*You are all about climbing  up and down things.  You love to climb up steps and you are trying to climb up on the couch and into anything.  Good thing we don't have steps but you sure do love Mimi's.

*You are still drinking about 2-3 bottles a day.  Hopefully, one day you'll give them up.

*You sometimes sleep through the night.. but not usually.  We've got to work on that.

*You are still very shy around new people and will sometimes cry.

*You are learning to share and you get so excited when you do something right that you will just clap and smile.

*You love anything sweet.. cake, cookies, ice cream.

*You wear 9-12 month clothes and a size 3 diaper. I'm guessing you are around 20 lbs.

*You LOVE to be outside.. its just too hot to be out there for very long. You love your books!
You have the funniest little laugh..it almost sounds like a fake laugh.

*You always make us laugh.

*You love music and love to dance.

*You don't say that much but mama, dada, yaya, baba.  I'm hoping you will start saying more words soon.

*You love to play hide and seek.. you will just squeal when I jump out to find you.
You met sweet baby Finn (3months)

Who wore it best...=)
You and cousin Reagan were twins!

Mommy had a training every day last week so you stayed with your Mimi and Aunt Jodi for the week.  It was hard on mommy but you did pretty well.  One month till school starts.. so I'm starting to get back in the groove and getting my room ready.  Deep breaths.. deep breaths... It will be ok.

That's about all that we've been up too.. We have some exciting news to share later in the week..
Stay tuned!!

Happy 4th and happy four years...

Four years ago today.. I said I do.  In one way it feels like yesterday and in other it feels like forever.  I'm so thankful for pictures to look back on and remember what our special day looked like.  We have a tradition to always watch our wedding video and I can't wait to watch it tonight.  I'm so thankful for this man who makes me smile, laugh, and share life with.  It's been a great four years.. here's to many more to come!

We had a great fourth at home with the family.  My brother in law and sister in law came over with our niece Reagan for lunch and we all had a good time together.  Jamie grilled out ribs and corn on the cob, and I made potato salad, and mac n cheese.  It was yummy!  Melissa made her delicious blueberry cobbler and I could have eaten the whole thing.  Jamie got a new ice cream maker for father's day and let me tell you this thing is high tech and its awesome.  Gone are the days when you need ice and rock salt.  That's still the memory I have of making homemade ice cream and it was yummy but it took forever. Our new one is  Cuisinart and it took 20 minutes, no ice, rock salt or loud noises and it was oh so yummy!  Nothing says the fourth like homemade ice cream.  Can't wait to try some new recipes.
Not the best pic..but it was all we could get.  And, yes I missed the memo on the flag outfit.  I couldn't find one so we made do. =)
Melissa and I with the girls.
The other Haley family..
Best picture we could get of the girls..
This picture cracks me up..
B was asking R to share her bracelet.
And R said no thanks..it's mine!
Yummy..ice cream!
Uh huh..that's what I'm talking about momma!
