Burkleigh Ann is two months..

You have already changed so much in just one month.

Time is flying by and I am so thankful for this time at home with you, little bit.  I wouldn't trade it for the world.  You change and grow so much every day and I'm so thankful I get to see it all.

You are smiling and cooing at us all the time.  I just love to hear you make your sweet noises.

You love your bouncy seat and your swing.  You take most of your naps in your swing and you sleep in your nap nanny at night still.  You like to be elevated... you will lay flat some but you won't sleep for long periods of time laying flat.  We found out at our last dr. visit that you have reflux, so I guess that explains why you like to be elevated.  We started you on Prilosec and hopefully in a week or so your tummy will be better.

You have so much hair! Some of it sticks up in the back..we have to wet it down.  Who knew a 2 mo. old would need styling products on their hair.. lol!

You love to hold your lovey when you go to sleep.. it is so sweet!!

You weigh 10 lbs and 8 oz. now and 22 3/4 in... what a big girl!
You wear size 1 diapers.
You are still wearing your newborn and 0-3 months clothes.
You are eating about 3-4 oz every 3-5hours. Mommy is still pumping and giving you a bottle during the day and nursing at night.  You are doing well with it.

You sleep really good at night. You have gone 9 hours one time without getting up.  But, that has only happened once.  Mostly you are going anywhere from 4-7 hours.  I usually get up once in the night.   You are doing so much better wtih yoru naps.  You take a good morning nap and will sleep from 3-4 hours and then you take several little afternoon naps for an hour or so.

You love your mobile and will just sit and watch it for a while.  You are holding your head up good and are a strong little girl.  Your not crazy about tummy time but you like it okay.

You are not crazy about the car and hated your Peg Perego car seat.  We bought a new one and you seem to like it much better.  It makes for long car rides when you fuss and mommy can't take all the screaming. You are a really good baby and you only cry when you need something.  A lot of times its because of your tummy and you need to burp.  So, hopefully this medicine will help.  You are a gassy little one too!

As long as we are home, you are on a good schedule. You will get up/eat/wake and play/nap.  You aren't up for more than 2 to 3 hours at a time before you start fussing and need a nap.  I'm hoping you will learn to take naps in your car seat so we can get out more but for now we mostly stay home cause you are content at home.  Mommy is too! =)

You still aren't crazy about a paci. You only like it when you are really tired and most of the time I have to hold it in your mouth.  You still can't keep it in there that good.  You have started putting your whole hand in your mouth to suck and suck.  You will suck on your fingers but you have a hard time getting your thumb in your mouth.  You keep your little fist balled up and your thumb inside your fingers.. it is really sweet.

We had our first lunch date together with Sherry and John Tanner.  You fussed for a little bit and then fell asleep in  my arms.  That didn't last long though.. as soon as I put you down you woke right up.

You went out to eat for the first time with mommy and daddy on Mommy's birthday.

Mommy and daddy had a date night with our friends, The Powers and you stayed with Mimi and Pops.  You were a good little girl.
We are headed to the beach next week for our first family vacation.  I pray that you won't scream and yell the whole time in the car.  I think the change of scenery will all do us some good and the beach always makes me happy!

We love you very much little bit and can't wait to see you grow and change each month.
