Almost One..

Wow!  I can't believe I am typing these words.  Burkleigh Ann will be ONE tomorrow!!  It just doesn't seem real.  My little baby is not a little baby anymore.
These days she's into everything, throwing the balls and most of her toys for that matter, walking with her push toys, talking more, saying ya-ya, da-da more often, still experiencing stranger anxiety and "shyness" when I talk to people she buries her head.  Thankfully, this is all normal because I was worried about  my little fuss pot.  =) She loves her books and her little pink lovie!  So sweet when she holds on to that little thing..
She constantly wants down, won't let you hold her for long, cries to be outside and wants to do things herself.  She doesn't like it when you take things away from her and she had her first uh-oh the other day.  She got into a little ant bed that was under the grass and they bit her all up her little arm.  It was pitiful.  She loves to eat grilled cheese, peaches, cheetos, happy baby cheese puffs, goldfish, pasta, peas and carrots, jello, green beans, and really anything we are eating.  If she doesn't want something she will pick it off her tray and throw it on the floor.  She knows what she wants.  If you ask her what the pig says, she will wrinkle her nose and make a blowing sound.  If you ask her where her tongue is or if you say what's in your mouth, she will stick out her tongue.  If you ask her where Oscar is, she will go find him or look for him.  She loves lights and fans and loves to wave bye-bye to everyone.
I'm guessing she weighs around 19.5-20 lbs.  We go to the dr. on Tuesday.
She takes one good nap a day.. sometimes two but usually one.
Night time is not usually very fun.  She fights going to sleep and would stay up till 10 if I let her.  Sometimes she has because she refuses to sleep.  She slept through the night for the first time in FOREVER this past week.  WOW!! And..she's done it several more times since then too. I've let her "cry it out" some in the night and she's done ok with it.  She likes milk but not out of her cup.  She would rather have water.  She is still taking a morning bottle (usually) and then a night time one.
Clothes: 9 mo and some 12 mo.
Diapers: Size 3 still
Saturday is our family party with a few friends and I can't wait to celebrate my baby girl this weekend.  My house is all pink and green!  So fun!
I love you so much little bit.. can't wait to see what the next year has in store for you!
